2 With my burden I begin: . 4 While I am a pilgrim here, Lord remove this load of sin; Let Thy love my spirit cheer;
1 Let Thy blood, for sinners spilt, As my guide, my guard, my friend,
Set my conscience free from guilt. Lead me to my journey's end.
3 Lord, I come to Thee for rest, 5 Show me what I have to do, Take possession of my breast; Every hour my strength renew; There Thy blood-bought right maintain Let me live a life of faith,
I And without a rival reign. Let me die Thy people's death.

I 2 Jesus, by Thy blood alone, Who didst for our sins atone, i Dare we come before Thy throne.
3 Thou who knowest all our need, Grant the prayer of faith to plead, Teach us how to intercede.
4 Thou hast led us in the way, And hast taught us how to say,
I " Abba, Father," when we pray. |
5 Holy Spirit, from on high Helping our infirmity, Aid us in our feeble cry.
6 Flesh and heart would faint and fail, But there stands within the veil One who ever doth prevail.
7 Glory to the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Three in One, While the endless ages run. |
